The Nokia N73 mobile phone is likely to have many digital cameras
hiding inside their cases. But unlike the school bully, this handset
isn't overweight, unintelligent or boring. It's frightening because
it's so impressive.
Start by taking a look at the main camera. It'll capture 3.2
megapixel photos with its Carl Zeiss optics, mechanical shutter
and advanced auto focus. The camera will also handle videos and,
when you've finished, utilises its high-quality 2.4 inch display
to become a pocket-sized digital photo album. You can send your
images to other phones as picture messages, transfer them by email,
print them via Bluetooth or upload them to an online photo service.
If that doesn't have conventional cameras quaking on their tripods,
the Nokia N73 can transform into a music player. There are stereo
speakers with 3D sound, an equaliser and an FM radio to give you
the best possible choice of entertainment. Rather cleverly, the
N73 even lets you create a slide show by combining your favourite
pictures with your own soundtrack.
This compact camera phone is smart as well, with email, office
applications, an organiser, PC synchronization and web browsing
all available. If you're looking for a new camera phone, the Nokia
N73 is scarily good.
