The Samsung E250 mobile phone is an affordable little slide-open
handset. The styling echoes the company's premium products - yet
there's no premium price tag here.
There's a firm focus on music inside the E250. The phone's music
player can handle MP3 and AAC files, with compatibility for optional
Bluetooth stereo headphones if you're lucky enough to own a pair.
13MB of built-in memory and an expansion slot take care of storage,
while an FM radio offers even more music.
Photos and video recording are looked after by a straightforward
camera, with the Samsung E250's colour screen displaying bright,
clear images. The large screen also deals with mobile internet
browsing, picture messages, texts and a personal organiser. In
addition you'll discover a handsfree loudspeaker, USB connectivity
and Java compatibility.
Yet none of these attributes would be as appealing if it weren't
for Samsung's design skills. The E250 is comfortable to use, it's
easy to understand and it's attractive to look at. With its slim
dimensions and understated appearance, this colourful music-playing
camera phone is bound to appeal - and not just because of the
price.
